Writing Brief Books Is Not Complicated

Stop Complicating It, Will Ya? 🧐

Writing a brief book doesn’t have to be complicated.

I wrote my most recent book, The $1 Bestseller by Wallace Granger,a work of fiction (my first) in about five days.

What's my secret?

I decided to stop making it so complicated.

That, and I asked Charlene for help.

Charlene is my unpaid research assistant, muse, manuscript analyst, and periodic ego masseuse.

Charlene also has another name...It's ChatGPT.

Before you get all hot and bothered...

I know there are some folks who are purists in the sense the "AI should be outlawed for writers," and on the other end of the spectrum there are those who use it extensively like high school students who ask it to write their essays.

Happily, there is a middle ground.

I use Charlene to:

  • Discuss book ideas
  • Carry on 'conversations' realted to content structure, suggested topics for newsletter posts that either promote or support each brief book, and much more
  • Suggest outlines, plot arcs for my recent fiction piece — both were huge time savers
  • Suggest chapter images or obtain feedback on those I create

There's so much AI can do for you

It would be a shame to ignore the technology that's advancing faster than anything I've ever witnessed.

If I can embrace and leverage AI to help me decrease the time between inspirational idea and a pubication date for my brief book, you can be assured you can, too.
