It's how your book gets out of your head and into the hands of your readers.
My free 4-page 'Author's Checklist' is the way most people get started.
Author’s Checklist — Page 1 of 4.
I've been writing since the 4th grade, and I started writing professionally in my 30s. I've published two full-length business books, and gues what? I don't think anyone ever finished them.
Then, I discovered brief books: focused, direct, and most importantly, books that readers actually finished.
Why do readers always finish brief books?
Nonfiction brief books are focused on a single topic or problem
Fiction brief books tell a story without without the endless setting descriptions and 700 word sentences that some writers take pride in writing
They contain fewer than 100 pages when printed in a 6" x 9" paperback format via via Amazon KDP
They sell worldwide via Amazon, Apple Books, Kobo, etc., and be delivered in a few days of ordering without having to be in bookstores
I soon discovered other authors who specialized in brief books (also known as short books, mini books, or minimalist books) and learned everything I could about the process.
Here’s a sneak peek at the novella and my nonfiction brief books.
‘The $1 Bestseller by Wallace Granger’ is my debut work of fiction.
My nonfiction brief books for creatives.

Brief Books Include Fiction, Poetry & Memoir
As I stated above, I recently finished a novella, a brief novel. You can publish your memoir, poetry collection, or novella and publish it via Amazon KDP as a brief book.
